Health Care

People in the US are fed the lie that they live in the greatest country in the world, but yet it would be hard to imagine one that is so apathetic to the wellbeing of their citizens.

“Ask not what your country can do for you”, is antithetical to what a Democratic Government’s FUNCTION is, i.e. to show what they are doing with the TRUST bestowed upon them, and how hard they are putting their tax dollars, to work for the best interests of its citizens.

Moreover, it ought to make sense that a healthy Nation is a productive one- that without a basic level of investment in the health of the Nation, workers will be sick more often, and work fewer hours. Not only will they not contribute to the Economy, they will not be good consumers. America is going bankrupt- morally, economically, and every other metric you can think of. Already reliant upon an illegal workforce to make up for the labour shortage, the only people profitting are bankers, energy producers, military, and most especially, the doctors who can- and do- charge the top dollar for their services, uncaring that their patients, sorry “consumers” must mortgage their home to pay for them.

The link above is reflective of how inefficient the private health sector has become with regard to health insurance- prior to 2014, Americans pay the most, and yet have the lowest life expectancy. Isn’t it time to invest in the future of Americans?
